Christmas 2007

This year our tree ornaments were pictures of our family through the years from babies to weddings and in between. I had the most fun because I got to go through pictures and scan them. We also went through baby books and journals and found funny stories and typed those up and put them like scrolls from the tree. We had everyone home, from Georgia to Boise and it was enjoyable. Siena had a cold (see the picture with Dov holding her) and the usual disruptions to peace on earth, and a killer snow storm Christmas Eve. That's what holidays are all about.

And Now For Hawaii

What can I say. Paradise it was. We had a house for all thirteen of us. It was full of fun and love.
We went out every morning on adventures and then back to the house for lunches and naps. Then we took off again in the afternoon and were out until late. There were trains to ride, pineapple ice cream to eat, boats to sail on, and flowers galore.
The most amazing experience was being together as a family for an extended period of time.

Odds and Ends

I have been going through pictures and trying to organize them into some sort of time line. I came across this one of Rick's dad with Brooks on his shoulders. It is one of my favorites of Granddad Steele. Check out those socks on Brooks. They always had to be pulled all the way up his legs.
