It's A Girl!!

Siena Elizabeth was born May 25 and everyone is well and happy.

Jana moves to Salt Lake! Yes, east to west....

Jana had tickets to Frank Lloyd Wright's Falling Water for us so we had a stop the first day at the home. It really was a memorable visit.

Landon is One

Landon had his first birthday on June16 with family members in North Ogden. The day before Landon went to the swim park and loved the swimming pool with Mom and Dad

Moving Right Along

Will the real Bubba raise their hand.

Brooks and Bonny had the opportunity to move to Athens, Georgia for graduate school. It was sad to pack them up and have them be so far away. Rick drove out with them and then flew back west. Rick loved having Zibby's head on his shoulder as they drove together across the plains.

In The Summertime duh-duh-duh-duh-duh-duh

Tara, Siena, Dov and Matan and campsite E2 in Waterton.

Who is that splash? Not telling, but the water slide was the place. The slide was pretty mossy and the pool was shallow. But as always, it was great to go down and then hit the cold water.

Matan cheered us at the slide

The Norton Two holding Siena at Crandall Lake. Yes, your dad and Dov swam across the lake.

The inflatable canoe needs some patching, but Rick with his trusty helper, Matan got the job done.

October highs and lows

October 2006 was an amazingly happy and sad month for us. Brooks and Bonny were married on October 7. We had a great celebration of friends and family. Brooks and Bonny had an open house in Logan that was supposed to be in our backyard, but after a constant down pour for two days, we moved it indoors. On the 7th we went to Salt Lake for a wedding breakfast and then the marriage took place in the Salt Lake Temple. It did clear up for the wedding which was beautiful.

The sad part of the month was losing Rick's dad. He made the trip from San Diego to Utah for the wedding and it was great to have him with us. A little over a week later, he passed away.
